Following on from Tommo's blogging of B&O's take on the ipod the company have now teamed up with the talented fellows at SAMSUNG to create the Serenata, a phone/mp3 hybrid thingy. SAMSUNG have clearly injected some eye appeal into B&O's marmite like styling. The decision to put the scroll wheel above the screen may introduce some questionable ergonomics, but the products main selling point should be sound quality. B&O would have us believe that the internal speaker produces a hi-fi quality noise... of compressed files... in mono. Still, it will retail in the UK at just £675 (did anyone tell them about the iphone?).
