Most hoped for gift this Christmas?

I was reading the Wired blog (yes, at 5 minutes past 5) and found some interesting facts whilst looking their top ten hottest gifts. The slinky comes in at number one which was a surprise. Yes they're good but who's going to bother running up and down the stairs to get it, I thought kids wanted mobile phones and PS3's. One thing I didn't know though, it was created by a ship engineer Richard James after he observed a spring that fell of a shelf onto a bookcase and onto the floor, 300 million slinky's later they're still selling strong. Wish I'd thought of that...
